A Metropolitan Police Department officer was arrested on charges he engaged in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl before robbing her earlier this year in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County police said. A judge denied bond Friday afternoon calling the charges "incredibly disturbing." Police said the charges stem from an incident on Jan. 9 when Chukwuemeka Ekwonna met a 15-year-old girl on the social media app Tagged. The girl agreed to meet him to engage in sexual activity in exchange for money, police said.
